I am trying to find the cent symbol on my keyboard as it no longer appears under the $ key. Is it still there or do I have to copy it from another source?

With the keyboard open, tap the “.?123” tab at the bottom, gently tap on the “$” key and the “¢” sign will be there.

I see the same behaviour from my keyboard. I’ll experiment with various keyboard layouts to see if it is in all versions.
Update: The ¢ is there if I change my “Language & Region” to US English from Canada English.
Enter accented letters or other alternate characters. Touch and hold a key, then slide to choose one of the options.

Switch to another keyboard

Are you using the keyboard for English? It should give you the below or similar when you press and hold $
I am using the default keyboard but the cent symbol does not appear under the $ key. The options under that key are ₽,¥,€,£ or ₩. I have checked everything on this keyboard and there isn’t a cent symbol.
Yes, as I told someone else, I am using the default English keyboard and the cent symbol is NOT under the dollar symbol any more. The only options are ₽, ¥, €, £ and ₩.
Very strange indeed. I have now changed my Region back to Canada, added the US keyboard, but still using the Canada (English) keyboard, and lo and behold ¢¢.
Yes, that works. The silly thing I found is that if I add the US English keyboard, even if I am using the Canada English one, the cent symbol now appears under the $ key. Go figure!
