Does Mac OS provide a remote SCP connection in Finder?

Finder has an option to connect to a remote server. It seems unable to use SCP protocol. It allows ftps:// but that does not seem to work with a CentOS Linux server expecting an SSH / SCP connection. This functionality is so basic to Linux systems that even the $35 Raspberry Pi running free Raspbian OS has the ability to connect to a remote SCP server built into its file finder. Am I missing some sort of well hidden functionality in the Linux-based Mac OS or is this expected functionality simply not present?
