Find and Highlight all instances of a specific word

Hi,

Is there a way to Find & Highlight, instead of Find & Replace with Pages? I really need to find all instances of certain words (in a 100,000 word document!) and highlight them all.

Can't see how to do this in Pages. Is it possible at all? Or is there another app that might work?

Thanks 🙂

The Pages v7.1 scripting dictionary does not expose words to the Text background (true word highlight) property, and therefore, AppleScript automation is out of the question.

The only solution that will show all searched words with a yellow highlight is to export your document as a PDF and open it in Preview. When you ask Preview to Find, it will yellow highlight every occurrence of the found word, and list the page number on which one or more matches were found in the thumbnail gallery.
