Apple watch 2 touch screen problem

I´m getting a bit annoyed with my watch, which started to not working properly yesterday. The issue is that one corner of the touch screen cannot be used, it doesn´t react at all if trying to press it, but it kind of "automatically" press itself all the time so every time I turn my wrist it have opened the heart beat app from that corner.


I have tried un-pairing and pairing again, and done also several hard resets without desirable results, only difference what I can see is with the hard reset that it can change the corner which does not work, so either the issue is located in the right upper corner or left upper corner, it does not change in every hard reset but sometimes...


I´m bit lazy with the software updates and installed the latest version just few days ago, but right before the update the watch did work properly for those few days until yesterday, so it cannot be anything wrong with the update itself?


Have anyone had similar issues and was it possible to get it fixed?


My watch is now just 4 months older than the 1 year warranty so would be quite annoying to be forced to buy new one now, no that I would not be curious to try new version 3 🙂

You know what’s funny. This exact thing happened to my watch... 5 days ago. If you do a hard reset, the screen works again for a little bit and then dies. I’ve done one restore and tonight I’m going to try a complete factory reset. I wonder if it is mechanical or some software glitch. Maybe watch watchOS5 will fix it. If not series 4 watches are around the corner.
