Photos Project Extensions: Mimeo

I'm curious if anyone has made a Photos project with Mimeo. I just downloaded the app 2 days ago and began a photo book which I have almost completed. I was very pleased with the ease in transitioning to the new format and the options afforded by Mimeo. Problem is today, when I tried opening my project, it wouldn't and this popped up instead :

Project extension “Mimeo Photos” terminated unexpectedly.

I've tried restarting Photos and my computer. I don't really want to reinstall the app as my project is basically finished. I am running High Sierra 10.13.6 and Mimeo Version 2.0.3

Anybody else experience this yet?

I have High Sierra and Mimeo Photo2.0.9. I created a photobook project of about 50 pages and clicked on "Buy" and went thru the whole process of purchasing, etc., and it proceeded to upload the photos. After about 10 minutes (with nothing happening, I received the following message: "Project Extension Mimeo Photos" terminated unexpectedly." I am awaiting a chat response from Mimeo's support people.

I may not be entering this discussion at the correct point, but I received an email from Mimeo yesterday that outlined how to convert or reprint existing Apple photo projects. I was very happy to hear this was possible, but must admit I am totally lost in the process!

1. I have downloaded the Mimeo app and it is now visible on my Photos menu and when I choose 'create', the Mimeo option comes up to create books, cards, etc. Gave it a test run - all seems good.

2. I have a photobook I created some time ago and I simply want to get a PDF copy of it, but when clicked on I still get the Apple message to download an extension from the App Store, even though I now have Mimeo in the system. If I 'continue' I get my book up, there is no 'Convert' button in the right-hand corner in order to select Mimeo Photos.

Also, for some unknown reason I can't get a PDF copy from within the book as I used to do (only prints a couple of pages - why is this?) and I even tried the menu to 'Export' a PDF, to no avail.

3. I have checked the 'Extensions' in my System Preferences and the Mimeo is one of the apps showing.

I have ver 3.0 Mimeo and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. Is it possible this wonderfully easy way to Convert a Photos book project into Mimeo is only available in the new OS software upgrade?

I have not even had the App Store new OS download offered on my computer, so I am assuming it is still in trial mode.

Hi Old Toad, I seem to have found a workaround. I click "place order", and select a pic that it cannot find. Then there were two pathways. In the first, the pic opens up in editing mode and a spinning wheel of spokes appears at the bottom right. The editing mode then offers the normal options of white balance and luminance, etc. If I save changes at this point, the pic is recognised by mimeo. In the second pathway, I click "place order" and select a pic that is missing, but instead of a rotating wheel of spokes, a piechart shows that fills up at the bottom right. Editing mode does not show variations in the white balance, luminance, etc. options. At this point, I select DXO, allow it to grind through, save changes, which returns me to editing mode, and now suddenly the white balance, luminance, etc. variations show up. When I save the changes now, instead of without the DXO route, the pic is recognised by mimeo.

The procedure is very laborious, with a "place order" required for every single pic, but it seems to work. Placing order now, hopefully for real, this time!
