Why does my iPad keep locking mid-process?

My iPad is around 6 weeks old. Ive only used it so Procreate, netflix and emails so far, but regardless of the app; the device randomly closes the app and locks the device. It doesn’t shut down but I have to hit the home button and use Touch ID to resume practice.

Why is my iphone selecting random apps/buttons on its own and locking me out of my phone? Why is my iphone selecting random apps/buttons on its own and locking me out of my phone? My phone has been acting really strange. It's been randomly scrolling and selecting apps and clicking random keys when I try to message someone. Half of the time I can't even open my phone because it won't let me slide up to open it. The same would happen when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't let me slide the power off switch. I'm not sure if the touch screen is broken or if it's some type of virus.

IPad exiting me off apps My 6th generation IPad has been kicking me off apps. I will load an app, but then a few seconds later-it will exit me off. Any app I try to go on. Does that happen to anyone else? This is the first time my iPad has done such thing.
