If I place an object in text in a word processing document so that it is above and below the text but their is not enough room at the bottom of the page, it seems to anchor the object to the right end of the next line of text.
How do I move the anchor so that it is at the beginning of the next line of text rather than the end?

All you can do is drag the object and hope for the best, why and where it places the anchor is always a mystery.
To me the greatest mystery is why Apple doesn't just let you grab the anchor directly. But that would be obvious and intuitive.
