Itunes wont accept paypal anymore

I have used paypal to pay for my itunes app pirchases and it no linger works on my iphone. Message says itunes no longer supports this payment method chose another. Seems to work on my laptop.

See Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support and Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID - Apple Support. Perhaps you need to revalidate the payment method in some fashion.
