iPad mini 2 Touch Screen problem

My friend has a problem with his iPad Mini 2 iOS 11.4.

Sometimes the tablet detects as if someone touched areas of the touch screen without anyone touching it (usually these random taps occur at the same place where there was the last tap or in any case in the same area of the same.

Is there any solution to the problem? It's quite annoying ... thanks in advance!

Hi there, Dougsty.

I see that the display of your friend's iPad mini sometimes acts like it's been touched or otherwise interacted with, but it's not being touched at all, and I'm happy to help.

For this issue you will want to contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for further assistance.

Take care, and enjoy your day!
