Earpods and Iphone 7 and Iphone 8 plus

I have one set of earpods connected to an iPhone 7 and another set of earpods connected to an iPhone 8 plus and both phones connected to the same iTunes account.

I noticed that if I go through the action to forget the earpod on either the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 8 plus, the earpods on the other remaining phone will also lose its Bluetooth connection and does not respond.. Is there a way to use each set individually

Hi.

AirPods are using iCloud to connect to devices. So, you need different iCloud logins for different devices.
