When I choose a video to play, does it play from a file stored on my iPad or does it have to download it from iCloud? Before updating to 11.4.1, videos played immediately, now I have to wait for the endless circle, even with a 19 second clip. Also very slow to airdrop to my iMac....again have to wait for the endless circle.

I just answered my own question...duh...turned off wi-fi and now can't play anything and get message about failed to download. I foolishly activated iCloud (even bought more storage). I was thinking it would be great to be able to store videos to free up space on iPad. I did not realize I would lose control of them. Now it seems, if I turn off iCloud, it wants to delete all my files. This is a really bad thing. My videos are of my agility dogs...one of which is injured and may never run again. I do not want to lose her trial runs!!! now what? If I put my videos on my iMac in a folder named something other than video, can I hide them from iCloud? After they are safely tucked away, can I turn off iCloud?
