Have you tried a direct Mini DisplayPort cable?
Think the card is ok, because it runs a dual setup with two smaller Benq monitors perfectly...
Ok, thanks Grant. However, I’ve tried going from the mac mini-dp port to the monitor hdmi input with only one adapter, same result, no signal. This connection works on my Macbook pro, so both the adapter and cable is working. Any thoughts?
It would not be the first graphics card to die. But the Mini DisplayPort should be less likely to die because it should run bit cooler. Oh, maybe that card does not have a fan.
I’ll try that. Just ordered one, hopefully it does the trick:)
Looks compatible. You need to get from the computer-port to the display with at most ONE adapter. "Stacking" adapters does not work.
Use the Mini DisplayPort. There is no reasonably-priced converter from DVI to DisplayPort family.
Yup, it did! Case solved, case closed. Thanks, Grant.
Will a Viewsonic vx3276-2k-mhd monitor work with my Mac Pro 2009?
