iTunes music

Recently on my iTunes music songs that I have downloaded previously are beginning to be “greyed out” and will not let me play them. I have the apple Music subscription and when I try to choose a “greyed out” song it displays a message saying “item not available, item cannot be played” so why is that and how do i fix it ?

It can be because the label/record has decided to no longer make the song available for streaming.
