How can i delete all garageband files

I have a major problem with my Mac

I would like to delete all garageband files

I Found this on a apple support forum and none of these folders exist.

  • Macintosh HD/Applications/GarageBand.app (1.16GB)
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/GarageBand (995MB)
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic (880MB)
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Apple Loops (up to 10GB)*

I have removed the apple audio loop sounds. But the page in system information shows I have 1GB of space that I could potentially delete.

They are absolutely nowhere to be found.

Any help will be appreciated.

How old has your GarageBand installation been? The older versions installed also demo songs, in Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/GarageBand Demo Songs

If you previously used the iLife version of GarageBand you may still have a folder

Macintosh HD/Applications/GarageBand 6.0.5

with the older GarageBand application with a size of 375.3 MB.

Have you checked your Music folder, if GarageBand saved projects there?
