You're welcome. FWIW, after doing a brief search there seems to be no way to drop multiple pins in Maps. However, it may be possible to mark multiple locations in Google Maps. You would have to do some research.

If it’s not a GPS then why does it transfer to the iPhone to give directions? I very often make a journey with several stops along the way and am sure many other people do. Then you can print out a routing of your trip. Just like Google Maps does.

I explained that in the original post.
A GPS unit does a lot more than a phone in regards to geolocation. Goolag Maps is designed to work similarly. Maps is not.
Then it should act like google in this regard. On Mac OS one can print out the directions. So why not be able to print several sections. That’s the way I want to use it and it doesn’t do it so I have to close maps then go over to google and do it that way.
Please don’t troll me back. I am not interest in your explanations.
There isn't an automatic way, but you can drop individual pins and save them as Favorites. Name them sequentially and call each up as you reach the previous one.

You can drop pins along a route. Other than that there is no way to insert "stops".
Hmm. I only seem to be able to drop one pin. If I drop a second pin then the first one disappears.
That could be true. I never tried to drop more than one on a route. Adding stops to a route is not an implemented feature.
I just tried it. I can only drop one pin as well.
Thanks, Yes, It would help even just to drop pins along the route at planned stop locations to drive the overall route. Strange that this seems to happen.
Thank you,
It’s a pity that maps does not have this feature. I tried google maps and it is so easy to have a chain of desti
The iPhone isn’t a GPS. Maps is there to find points of interest and navigate you directly there.
Then it should act like google in this regard.
I can't make it work that way.
