MacBook Pro 5K video output

Hi, I would like to know the MacBook Pro 2018 supports 5K video output by "Thunderbolt 3" or "DP alt mode over USB-C"? I have a DisplayPort monitor which supports DP1.4 with resolutions of 5120 x 2880 on a single cable(https://iiyama.com/gb_en/products/prolite-xb2779qqs-s1/). Just would like to confirm If I connect a USB-C to DisplayPort cable between MacBook Pro 2018 and my monitor, can I get 5K display? Or I need a Thunderbolt 3 monitor to get 5K? Thanks.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
