I can’t log into my Apple ID. I have the right password because I just reset it but when I try to log in it disappears and then I press sign in again and it does the same thing.

After restarting my computer it asked for my password. Okay. I entered it and it didn't recognize it. So, went to another device and through my Apple Id Account I changed my password. Even had did the "upload my password to iCloud". Still doesn't recognize either my old or my new password. Help! Can't get into my computer.

I FIGURED IT OUT!!! I had the same problem basically my MAC computer refused to log into iTunes or iCloud because it didn't believe it was me even after repeatedly putting in the correct password and changing the password. It kept sending verification codes to my iPhone but not giving me a place to plug them into my computer for iTunes or iCloud.

What finally worked was I plugged in my new password (ABC) and the verification code (123) right after it ABC123. this at least made one of the iTunes windows stop angrily popping up. I then went to my toolbar at the top Apple>System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud>password. then I plugged in my new password (ABC). It then asked for my verification code and PRESTO!!! it finally worked and logged me into all the iCloud related systems on my MAC.

if this doesn't quite work for you try also Apple>System Preferences>iCloud>Account Details and plug in your password there as well and then maybe it will log you in.

basically, it is super frustrating and I wish that iTunes would have just let me plug in my stupid verification code and I wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place. Because I am positive I was always plugging in my correct password, it just refused to accept it because it couldn't verify my identity.

I can’t get on my MacBook Air. After several failed log on attempts it said I can reset my account password using Apple ID credentials but that won’t work either. I can’t shutdown because I’m not the administrator. I can get on as a guest but have no internet access. Can only hold the power button to shut off. Help😳

I contacted with Apple Support about this problem, then they gave me some solutions and i followed THEIR step by step including updade my iphone version up to date and restored my iphone with back up data. It did not work. I still had the same problem.

After 2 weeks, finally they found out my problem and they said that my data was unsuitable with my iphone, so I 'd better restore my iphone without back up data that meant i would accept to loose all my data. I set up as a new iphone and it worked.

It is a great way if you coppy your photos or something important to you via your laptop. :D

We are unable to log in. Changed password but that didn't help. Every time we try and log in it says ' unable to log in ' and if we do get to a point for our password it keeps saying we have the wrong password

I haven't been able to log in via my Mac either. When I try, I get an "cannot complete iTunes Store Request - error -50", but I also get a "unknown error -9836". For grins, I tried "Create new account", and I'm getting the same iTunes Store errors.

Logging in via iDevices is flaky (it times out often), but usually succeeds if I'm patient.

It seems like I started to have problems when I upgraded to Mojave. I finally got it to work once when I signed out, closed iTunes and then reopened and signed back in. However, the next time I opened up my Mac, it wouldn't connect to the iTunes store again and now it won't let me sign in. I know I am using the correct ID and password (it is the same one that I used to sign into Commununites to write this comment and I can sign in to other things for Apple). I'm thinking I'm going to have to upgrade to Catalina and see if Apple music will work for me.

i had to get a new phone because i broke mine so i used my wife old xs maxx i used a new icloud account because i didnt have everything backed up so i assume i lost everything and i go through all the steps and when i agree to terms it says that i cannot log in

I am currently having the same problem, my phone and ipad is fine and they log in easily except for my macbook. It keeps saying an error and i've tried shutting it down and restarting to see if it works but no luck.

I am trying to Loginto my account - Well I'm actually logged in, and then asks for the 6 letter Password from my email> I get them code type it in, then it comes up that this email account is not available???

I was eventually able to successfully log into my account by deleting the account that was configured prior to upgrading to Catalina and then re-configuring the account. Not sure what the difference was, but I finally have my mail and iCloud accounts working

New Mac Book Pro. get notices for app updates such as INOTES, GARAGE BAND and it keeps asking me to sign in when I selected update all. I'm already signed in and it keeps asking me to sign repeatedly with. no end.. I signed out and re signed in and same result. I have not changed password or Apple ID.

The window 'sign in to apple id itunes' appears. It want my appleid and the pass. I enter them and click on sign in. It just disapear for a second and come back again with the same request.

The pass is right. apple id is right. The window is in a weird loop.

Can u help me on this issue?

What's happening to me is a bit different. I open iTunes on PC. Program opens w/no problem. Dialogue box says, "sign in to iTunes store. I enter my username and password, the little blue circle turns for a few seconds, both the dialogue box and the iTunes program close.

New iPhone 11 can't sign into apple id. The password is correct as I can log into iCloud on my PC with the same credentials that I'm using on the new phone. Also, it seems to take if I sign in under settings>iTunes and App Store>sign in. But under Update Apple ID settings>continue it says updating Apple ID settings with the spinning wheel above it, then it disappears and I'm back at continue in an endless loop.
