In iMac14,2, Intel Core i5, Mac OS 10.13.6, Preview 10.0 totally unresponsive. Will not quit with 'ForceQuit' or open. Was working fine until today. Is there a fix for it, or should I try and delete the app and download/install new one.

I have malwarebytes which I run occasionally.
That and Etrecheck are the only ones you need.
I'd boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and reinstall the system.
The discussion of Public Betas is strictly prohibited by Apple. You will need to restore it from a back up from a computer.

I figured out how to delete the remaining files from FAF except for the ones in the attached. Part of the problem is I kept my old system crap on here when I got this one, and a lot was in there, but gone now. Just ran FAF again, and this is all that is there that I can't delete.
I really appreciate your help. Guess I will restart now and see if preview works. I have a couple of other questions, but will ask after restart, etc.
Now just ran FAF and still lots of files. Tried deleting from there, but couldn't. Here's the list. First tried .pdf, but wouldn't go.

You've got a number of items that need to be addressed. First uninstall CleanMyMac3 according to the developer's instructions: How to uninstall CleanMyMac 3. Knowledge Base - MacPaw. It is considered akin to malware around here. There is absolutely no need for any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speedup" or antivirus software on a Mac.
Having said that you have two anti virus apps installed and they only lighten the wallet and interfere with system and application performance. Uninstall both according to the developer's instructions:

When done rerun Etrecheck to make sure there are no files for those apps remaining.
I didn't know Intego was still on here. Had to reinstall, the uninstall; Uninstalled sophos and CleanMyMac.
In the Security Icon, left, on rerun/check, still a lot of library files with intego in them, so clicked remove option in 2nd report. I did this after running, so will run again now that intego files are gone.

You can check to see if you've removed all of the files by downloading and running Find Any File to search for any files with the application's name and the developer's name in the file name. For example for Intego you'd run the following search:

Any files that are found can be dragged from the search results window to the Desktop or Trash Bin for deletion.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
After running Etrecheck the 3rd time, Intego was still in the Library>Startupitems. Found the Library via spotlight, as couldn’t remember how to get them. Deleted that file, and now running E-4. I am also going to download FAF and run that. 4 coming.

The good thing now is Preview is working again! Yea!
However when I went to reboot, selected Restart, then again after a bit, and nothing happened. Same with ShutDown, so shut down from power button. Both time the window came up saying if I didn't click on the restart/shut down button, would auto happen in 5? seconds, but did not happen. I do hope I don't have to keep using the power button to restart/shut down, so if you have any idea(s) about that, would be much appreciated.
You have been a huge help. I did a little housecleaning of apps, etc., as well.
Since you had me delete my security software, is there one you recommend? I have malwarebytes which I run occasionally. Are you using an app to search for malwarebytes? I have liked sophos, and never had a problem with it (of which I was aware), and thought Intego was long gone. I guess next thing would be to run disk utility instead?
Really like the FAF, and will make a great addition to my software, as well as the other one, so many thanks for those.
Now THAT is scary! One of the other things that kept coming up in Entrecheck was that TimeMachine was not running, etc. I used to use it and had it hooked up to an external HD. Then started having problems, so just quit running it. Maybe I will try again. I might be willing to try that though. If I restart with those keys down, will it just reinstall itself, as I don't have a backup?
