my phone won’t update and keeps asking for my billing information which I’m not willing to give.

What should I do, how do I fix this?

My phone won’t let me update any of my apps and is asking for my billing information which I’m not willing to give as it has worked without it before hand. I have tried restarting, powering off my phone, logging in and out of my apps ID etc.
