My microphone won’t pick up sound on Certain apps, the sound is up ringer is up and everything works on other apps, but not on instagram, just picks up a ticking type of static sound, may have something to do with my calling sensor boy the front camera because when I call people, the screen blackens as if my head were by the screen, but it’s not. And when that happens they can not hear me face time works only. Not audio.

If you get no help, and/or your microphone doesn't work only with certain apps, try to delete those apps, then redownload / reinstall them.
