App was working, now it is not and no longer available in the App Store.

Ask Matt Drudge, and follow up with him or find another forum to state your argument but this is not the forum to do that.

Your question has been asked and answered to the best of the volunteers on this forum. Further discourse would very likely violate the Terms of Agreement we all agreed to when we signed up to use this forum.

Thank you for using the Apple Discussions Forum.

it would be very disconcerting if Apple were trying to suppress freedom of speech. I hope this is not the case.

It is extremely disconcerting to find that people have no idea what "Freedom of speech" actually means. Please get out your copy of the US Constitution (if you don't have it you can find it online) and read the First Amendment. You will note that all it says about Freedom of Speech is that Congress can make no law abridging the freedom of speech. Amazingly, it does not mention what Apple or any other corporation can do. Here, for your convenience: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution

If you read it carefully you will find the present administration is in violation of the First Amendment with several of its actions.

That aside, open your Apple device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac, etc), launch the Safari browser, and enter http://drudgereport.com. Does it appear? If it does then Apple is not suppressing anything.

You've asked, and we've answered and clearly you have no intention to do much more than derail this forum because you think you have an audience.

The volunteers here are not psychologists, neurologists or pharmacologists and can not diagnose medial conditions over the internet. If you need psychiatric help (please read this sentence again and this time omit the "if") contact your health provider. If you do not have a health provider or can not afford one then thats not our problem either.

I also jumped in with both feet with Apple products over the past 30 years to the tune of 25+ k and much more when I add what I’ve spent on kids. I’m old now and don’t appreciate being preached to by media or any of the companies I choose to do business with. I have always loved the Drudge Report and all Apple products I have a house full of them. I will spend my money with those who celebrate capitalism not socialism. I miss the Drudge Report being available in the App Store. Also, a free flow of any ideas should be able to be posted in these forums but of course we have seen that too is missing at Apple.

You don't get it. APPLE DID NOT PULL THE APP. DRUDGE DID. If you had bothered to read the thread you would know that. That was my reference to jumping in with both feet. You reached a conclusion based on NO INFORMATION. I realize that is the way of the world these days, but I keep hoping that there are a few people left in the world who are rational. I am disappointed at every turn.

Oh, and BTW, it's perfectly OK with you that Matt Drudge preaches to you constantly. At least be consistent.

Who is preaching to you? Certainly not Apple. They have said nothing on the subject.

I will spend my money with those who celebrate capitalism not socialism.

So, one of the wealthiest companies in the world is somehow against capitalism? Please explain how that works.

I'm afraid rational reasoning has vanished from the United States (and many other places, also).

What I mourn is civil dialog, the idea that you can have a discussion of ideas with someone of different political views without resorting to name calling. Instead, we have "Someone on twitter said you disagree with me therefore you are a bad person and I'll call you names (even if I don't really understand what the names mean or know if I'm using them correctly)!"
