Combining 2 lots of iCloud storage

My wife & I have separate 50Gb iCloud storage - I'd like to go on a 200Gb family plan and combine my wife's storage onto it - is this possible & how do I go about it? Will any date be lost? Thanks

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

You can change your iCloud Storage subscription to the the 200GB iCloud Storage plan, and then share that with your wife by setting up Family Sharing, turning iCloud Storage ON under the Family Sharing "Shared Features" section, and then sending your wife an invitation to join. Once she accepts the invitation, her storage plan will switch to the shared plan (see the section "Set up a new family and share a storage plan" in this support document:
