To delete excel template MicroSoft office 2011

I have created a template using Microsoft 2011 that I would like to delete now. When created it went automatically into a folder called "My Templates". I have followed all the steps from previous posts without success: Application/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/Media/Templates/... I can see Business Essentials, Finance, Graph Paper, etc.... but not the folder "My Templates" which has my template. I have a desktop with OX El Capitan Version 10.11.6
