How do I hyperlink?

I recently received a .csv file which Numbers opened ok. In that .csv file were cells with url's that Numbers must have determined as text. How can I format a column of cells and format that to be hyperlinks?

Do you have Smartlinks checked at Edit > Substutions in your menu?

If all the links have come is text you can use the HYPERLINK function. If the text is in, for example, column B row 2 and down you can add a column C with this formula in C2,

=(HYPERLINK(B2)

and fill it down the column.

The links in column C will be live.
