Apple watch is irritating my skin

I bought an apple watch series 3, LTE, 42 mm. Both the band that came with the watch and the back of the watch itself is creating red dots on my skin. It is irritating and causes rashes. The watch was costly in India but it is becoming unusable because of this issue. I was having Fitbit Charge 2 before jumping to the Apple watch. Fitbit was fine though.

Could you please give me some solutions?

Thanks,

~Biswa

Look for the simplest answer first. The watch will trap your sweat under the watch and the watch band. Air pollution will be absorbed by the sweat, and there are almost certainly skin irritants in the air pollution in India. From the description of your symptoms you might also have this condition: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miliaria also called "prickly heat". Does this look familiar?

I visited the stated webpage while researching for a solution. But I don't think that it solves my problem.

For a simple reason that once one starts wearing the watch will come to know whether that suits her skin or not. When it doesn't suit, then there is no need for the information provided on that webpage as the result is now already known. Anyway, this doesn't make sense to me to pay such a high price and not able to use the device for which it is intended to.
