Bluetooth causing issues with Logic Pro X and USB Audio Interface

I have a new MacBook Pro, 2018 i9, 2.9 GHz, 32 GB RAM, High Sierra 10.13.6. I keep getting several issues related to Bluetooth being active. My RME BabyFace Pro USB audio interface experiences a digital glitch distortion sound approximately every 5 minutes. It occurs while playing virtual instruments in Logic, or playing music from iTunes. Further, in Logic I experience CPU spikes with virtual instruments that quickly max out the cpu core they are running on causing a glitch. This also has the secondary effect of ramping my system fans up to max RPMs. So digging around in the console logs while one of these glitch/cpu spikes occur, I noticed I kept getting a Bluetooth error immediately after:

error 11:54:12.842841 -0500 coreaudiod HALS_IOA1Engine.cpp:365:EndWriting: HALS_IOA1Engine::EndWriting: got an error from the kernel trap, Error: 0xE00002EE

error 11:54:14.728842 -0500 wirelessproxd CoreBluetooth isn't advertising for this client type

I had Bluetooth on, and only had a Bluetooth PAN device installed. I had previously paired a set of Beats Solo3 headphones but they have been turned off. After removing all Bluetooth devices and turning it off, all my problems went away. No more CPU spikes, no more audio glitches, and even better, no more crazy system fans in Logic. I'd love to see this BT issue addressed. Obviously I'd like to use those devices. I was planning on getting a Magic Mouse, but will probably hold off if BT is going to cause this many issues.

It's not so much of an issue with Logic, as it's with macOS. CoreAudio is the system component of the operating system, and so is CoreBluetooth. You could run a simple test, disconnect the RME and use Built-in Output together with BT phones. If it also results in a similar glitch, then it's the BT phones that's causing it. But if not, then it's an issue with RME interface (likely, the driver needs to be updated). However, it's highly unlikely that Magic Mouse will interfere with CoreAudio, since the mouse isn't an audio device.

I believe I am experiencing this issue too. I have a Babyface (not the pro) and notice regular audio dropouts in both Ableton live and Logic Pro.

After disabling Bluetooth, I am no longer experiencing dropouts and can reduce the buffer size to 64 samples at 48KHZ (previously 128 at 44.1) . I am running some pretty cpu intensive VST's (BFD3, Re-pro). I'll have to check my logs to see if I am getting the same error.
