No Sender No Subject emails

My wife's iPad in the Apple Mail program is continuously getting "No Sender, No Subject" emails dated 12/31/69. Is there a way to make this stop? It's not a new one, "About" says it's Version is 11.4.1(15G77) Model MD785LL/A.

Thanks for your help.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Accounts & Passwords, tap the account on the right-hand side of the screen, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

If that doesn't fix it try closing the Mail app via the iPad’s taskbar. And do a soft-reset/reboot of the iPad.
