Numbers SUM formula shows as date and time

I have a MacBook Pro. I'm trying to total a column of numbers using SUM formula in a Numbers spreadsheet. One column totals fine. The column next to it shows a date and time in the SUM cell instead of the total of the numbers in the column. I can't figure out how to fix it.

Found it! In one of the numbers, there was a colon instead of a decimal point. All is well. Thank you so much for your help. There are 500 numbers in the column so I didn't see it when I scrolled through, but I went through each number individually with the format sidebar open and it popped up.
