HELP! Streaming websites won't open on my macbook (Netflix, Tenplay, Hayu, Stan ect.)

Someone help me!


It's been about a year or so now and I can't find a way to get any of these streaming sites working on my macbook pro. These websites include - Netflix, Stan, Hayu, Tenplay, 9now ect....


The websites don't open at all and just say:

This site can’t be reached

tenplay.com.au took too long to respond.

Try: Checking the connection or Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT


I have tried everything - can someone please offer some advice?

MacOS - High Sierra 10.13.6

MacBook Pro: Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014


Have you tried a different browser?

Have you tried a different Network?

Have you tried a Ethernet connection not wireless?



To trouble shoot further you can:


Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen as certain system caches, dynamic loader cache etc get cleared and

rebuilt. This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.


Test issue in another user (or guest user) account https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
