Help! I accidentally restored Macintosh HD to OS X Base System

I have Macbook Pro A1278 Mid 2012, When I was going to update macOS High Sierra, I accidentally restored Macintosh HD to OS X Base System. Didn't know that would cause issues... I can only open my laptop through the Command+R thing with macOS Installer.

Inside Disk Utility Option I can see the following screen

These are the cases and the current situation

How I can recover my old macOS 10.9.5 or Reinstall Current macOS High Sierra

Let me know the perfect solution to this problem, should I restore or erase the drive to recover os or what should I do, Please let me know step by step solution

It's a MacBook Pro A1278 Mid 2012.

Boot into Internet Recovery (option command R) and reformat the drive as GUID/ extended journaled reinstall the macOS.

Upgrade from there, and restore your user data from your backup.

Yes If you have a USBinstaller, it has a DiskUtility you can use to erase/format the drive and then install the macOS

remember to see you drive—DiskUtility>View>Show All Devices

The Mac new in 2012 shipped with

Pre-Installed MacOS:

X 10.7.3 (11D2515)

You are not going to get that back on line.

Internet Recovery—if you are getting the globe that is a good sign—it can take a long time for that server to load up depending on your internet speed.

Your best bet is to erase the drive, reformat as GUID, extended journaled

I want to let you know that I don't have a backup, this OS X Base System Image is created accidentally after updating macOS X 10.9.5

So let me know that if I erase this OS X Base system can I get that original macOS which was come with MacBook Pro

If it is possible so let me know which option should I select as I have uploaded images in the previous discussion

As per your last suggestion, (Your best bet is to erase the drive, reformat as GUID, extended journaled)

I have done above mention step I am not able to see the Disk Utility option now

I am getting the following screen flashing question mark inside folder after cmd + r

If I want to load MacOS or MacOS high sierra it possible to install through USB drive

Internet recovery is not possible it takes lots of time even glob is not spinning

Let me what should I do now
