Apple Accounts with children

I’m looking to buy an iPad for my 5 year old to use for films, Netflix and also learning!! I’m an Apple fan and have Mac, phone, watch etc... my question is can I load films from my Apple library on to the iPad but I need to some how block him from being able to go onto the Apple store and iTunes and being able to just hit buy buy buy! I’m hoping this makes sense? As he’s 5 he doesn’t understand what he’s pressing at times and I just don’t want a huge iTunes bill any help and advise in advance would be greatly appreciated
