MacPaw seems to be, at the very least, an unreliable organization. What is a viable and safer alternative to CleanMyMac? DiscUtility is not enough. I use a MacBook Pro running High Sierra.

Are you experiencing anything related to MacPaw, i.e. popups, etc., or just asking for a cleaning app? If it's the latter you don't need any "cleaning", "optimizing" or "speedup" apps on a Mac. They do more harm than good. The same goes for anti virus software.

Otherwise I don't see anything suspicious in your report.
I certainly hope there is not another pieces of such dangerous software CleanMyMac. One of them is far too much already.

Did download and run it. It seems to have detected some problems, but it does not perform any actions to correct them. I am not sophisticated enough to know what do do about them. Was hoping for a program that can detect and correct what can be corrected through software.
