TRIM or Not to TRIM on Apple SSD?

Hello,

It appears the TRIM feature is currently disabled on my iMac 2k15 using an Apple SSD running High Sierra.

I read about this question for other SSD and I read that with my apple factory built SSD it should have been enabled.

But it isn't, so I'm unsure whether I should enable it.

I don't have performances issues but I'm not against gaining an extra buff under higher work loads.

Cheers

Just FYI:

For current OS X (I think Apple started support TRIM since Snow Leopard 10.6 - only Apple OEM SSD then) that "Apple OEM SSD" will be automatically TRIM enabled. I have few DIY upgrades on Mac Mini, MacBook Pro and iMac - with Apple OEM SSD (made by Toshiba or Samsung - 2.5" or blade SSDs) that I had NO need to "enable" TRIM via terminal "sudo" command.

However, the fusion drives are a bit complicated regarding TRIM.

"About this Mac" -- "system support" -- "SATA/SATA express - or PCI-express" should be easy to check the TRIM status.
