My hardware discs for MacBook Pro won’t install (OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard)

I’ve been working on factory resetting my 2010 MacBook Pro. First problem I was running into was, when going to update the updates would not install. The second problem was during the factory reset after backing up the existing drive through time machine; the cds that came with the laptop would not fully install. Both installatio disc and applications install disc.

I’ve taken the time to deauthorize iTunes and remove the App Store account.

but right now I’m stuck!!

today I will be purchasing snow leopar from the apple store just in case I need it.

Can anyone help in this issue?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

"I’ve been working on factory resetting my 2010 MacBook Pro"

That requires using OS X Recovery.

OS X Recovery

Do not purchase a Snow Leopard disc. It won’t help.
