Being charged per song with Apple Music Subscription

Hi there,

I currently have a family subscription to Apple Music. My family members can access the free music through iTunes, but it still wants to charge me per song/album when I try to add music to m account. Any idea why this may be occurring?

Thanks

An Apple Music subscription gives you unlimited access to the music in Apple Music. However, if you want music from the iTunes Store, you will need to pay for that. On your iPhone, you access Apple Music through the Music app. If you use the iTunes app, you will need to pay by song or album.
