Congratulations google user!

hello. Cannot stop this popping up in Safari when visiting certain websites. I have deleted history and cache. I have deleted web data in advanced settings. Even erased all content and settings today. To no avail. This message keeps popping up - congratulation google user - google membership rewards. Think I will have to use Chrome browser instead.User uploaded file

Safari – Popup takes over

Safari – Popup takes over (2)

Popup remover – Scam Zapper

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.

Thanks. Yes WiFi. Windows computers no problem though. Chrome browser no problem on the same IPad. Just Safari browser on IPad. The same happens with Safari on other Wifi connections. It only happens when visiting particular websites the main culprit being The Sun Newspaper a UK national news site.

Thanks. I think I have tried most of the tips in the links. Not sure Scamzapper will work with an IPad? I think some of the instruction is for a Mac computer rather than IPad.

Congratulations google user!
