Keyboard types wrong letters

Keyboard types wrong letters

When I type "t", "qt" displays.

When I type "a", "ag" displays.

Tried resetting pram.

Only US keyboard selected.

Also uppercase won't unlock at times.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Safari 7.0.3

I have a builtin keyboard on my Macbook Air.

I added a UK keyboard to my system preferences keyboard panel.

It had the same bad output.

Tried to reinstall MAC OS bzuqt can't get password to be entered correctly

When I type "a", "ag" displays.

When I type "g", "ag" displays.
