Can't See Photos/Text Added on Screen Anymore

I added photos and text to a video in Motion and then tried to get the camera to work. I couldn't figure it out but it wasn't important, so I deleted everything relating to it and then saved and logged off for the night. When I came back the next evening, I couldn't see any of the photos or text.

Yes, they're still there, as there are box outlines where they should be whenever I select one of them. Yes, they're above the video in the group. I added new text and I can't even see that, but I know it's there because its outline appears on the preview screen. Can anybody tell me what's up? Thank you!User uploaded file

Motion is layer ordered (in 2D). Anything below an object that is full screen will not be visible unless a blend mode (like Overlay) has been used. In 3D, the Z-position of object takes over (you don't need a camera...) Also, objects only "exist" in the timeline for the length of time they've been designated. I'm looking at a couple of images that are only a few frames long. As soon as the playhead is off their position, they will disappear. From the screenshot above, there are two layers that are no longer in "current time" (of the playhead) labelled "AUDIO CUT OUT..." and "IT'S A BIG DEAL...", so you'll need to playhead around to find them. (There is an indicator directly under the Canvas that shows a colored bar and shows where the selected object exists in project time.)

If you need help finding something, type the 'x' key -- every object will appear flattened and ordered on the screen and you can mouse over and select a specific object to select it.
