Fake email or not?

Hai,

Today I recieved a email from Apple about my iCloud, but I don’t know it‘s a real email from Apple or not, because the email looks very fake and I don‘t trust it. Can you check it for me ? User uploaded file

There are so many red flags in that email...


Addressing you as only "Mr / Mrs" rather than your name.

Bad spelling and grammar like "on you" and "iCould."

The presence of a Word document attachment.


Just because it comes from an @apple.com email address (which is Apple's real domain, but it can be easily spoofed) does not mean the email came from Apple. Always inspect the email for signs like that, and inspect the URLs of any links and contents of attachments before actually opening them. In this case it is clearly a scam.
