How do I draw a virticual line on page app ?

Show me the way to use pages to draw vertical line on Apple computer

Regardless of the actual Pages version, you insert a line segment from the Shape tool in the toolbar. You grab one end of the default horizontal line segment and then rotate it 90 degrees (vertical). You can also use the Metric tool in the Pages '09 Inspector, or the Arrange tab in Pages v5 thru 7.1 to manually rotate the selected line segment.

Hi Patrick,


Adding to what Viking and Peter have said, you can grab the handle (small square) at one end of the line, then drag to rotate the line toward vertical. If you press and hold the shift key, then drag, the line will snap into place when it is vertical, when it is horizontal, or when it is half way between vertical and horizontal.
