External hard drive will not mount

Have 2 gdrive hard drives on usb. Was watch vide from one and it froze. Restarted my computer and it does not show on desk top. Can see it in dick utility but will not mount. First aid failed.the other drive is fine. Any ideas.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), intel

The drive has likely failed. You can reset the NVRAM and try another cable, however if neither work then I'd suspect that the HD has failed and should be replaced. You can also try restarting in Safe Mode too.
