how do I stop tracking steps on health

I have two Iphones - an 7+ and a 10. I also have a smartwatch. I see that on the watch it will say i've taken something like 10.000 steps. However, the health app will state I've taken 23,000 steps. it seems to be combining the watch, my Iphone 10, and my Iphone 7+.

How to I either delete the Health app from the 7+ (a work phone) or stop it from tracking steps?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.0.3

Hi there, perfectreign!
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! That is a great question you have about how to stop a device from tracking your steps and I’m happy to help! To stop the iPhone 7 from tracking your steps, you’ll need to open the Health app and go to Health Data > Activity > Steps > Data Sources & Access > under Data Sources > iPhone > Edit > Delete All. This will remove the device from tracking your steps.
Let me know the results and take care!
