IPhone is stuck on Apple logo and sometimes shifts to indicate Connect ITunes.

So the IPhone gets stuck on Apple logo. I tried pressing the home button for a while which let to the screen shifting onto something indicating connect to ITunes(in the picture). I don’t want the data in the phone to be erased. What should be done?

The data is already gone. You need to restore your phone.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
