macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 update Audio Issue

Hi,

I am using MacBook Retina 13 (Late 2012), Processor : 2.5GHz Core i5, 8GB running on macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6.

Last month, I updated my macOS High Sierra to 10.13.6 and from past couple of days I encountered a static noise in my mac audio. This problem appears with some of the audio/video that I play on Itunes/You tube. However, when I plug in my ear phones the audio seems to works perfectly fine.

After, i reviewed the apple updates, it has installed the AirPlay 2 multi-room audio support for iTunes. I am sure, this issues started after this update. I don't think this is an hardware issue as the audio is working well with the ear phones.

Trouble shooting steps that I performed :

1. I tired killing the core audio process from the Terminal, but there was no core audio process found.

2. Restarted my mac several times after pressing Option, command, P & R keys but no luck.

3. I read the blog that this might me an issue with Adobe Flash player, I reinstalled the flash player.

4. I visited the sound setting and toggled "Play feedback when volume is changed"

Any help on the above problem is greatly appreciated.

Thanks -

MD
