Boot camp stuck on 'Roll back partitions'

Question

The situation came up when I was trying to install Windows 10 via boot camp. Something went wrong so boot camp said it is rolling back partitionsHowever its stuck on this screen for quite some time and I would like to have my disk space back. Stop the BCA process, because it may never complete. Reboot and rundiskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC1 disk0s3diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC2 disk0s4diskutil mergePartitions jhfs+ BCMP disk0s3 disk0s4diskutil listIf you only see disk0s3, then diskutil eraseVolume fat32 BOOTCAMP disk0s3and now run BC Assistant and try to Remove/Restore.

Excellent. disk0s3 was already marked for pending deletion, which caused the little hiccup.
