How to use airpods with old stereo, piano, etc?

My wife has AirPods and loves them and I want to get a pair. However, before doing so, I' trying to figure out how to use them with my old equipment, not just my iPhone and iPad.

For example, I have a (digital) piano that I often use headphones with when practicing, and I'd love to use the AirPods instead because I'm always getting tangled in the cords. Same thing for an old stereo I have.

How do I do this? Is there some bluetooth adapter I can plug into the old devices to make them bluetooth/AirPod compatible? Hopefully one that draws power from the piano/stereo so I don't constantly have to change batteries?

iPhone 7, iOS 11.0.1

There will be a very slight delay and it's unavoidable. It results from the digital coding necessary for transmission. I use it for an old TV with an audio output. For regular shows, I don't notice the delay at all but with extreme closeups (like news reporters) it is slightly annoying. I don't know how annoying it will be with your usage.

By the way, I don't like the Apple AirPods. I use these. Even in the very rare case where BOTH fall out of my ears, the clothing clip prevents loss.
