Final Cut Pro X Image Stabilization problem.

Question

Final Cut Pro X Image Stabilization problem.

The Image Stabilization options are greyed out when I select it. I can't change anything. Why is it greyed out?

Using the latest version of Mac OS and Final Cut Pro X.

Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

You know what it was just taking a while to analyze the clip. I tried another video and it took about 10 secs and then it turned white to editable. Thanks though. Appreciate the help!!

Here is a screen shot! IF I select another app while in FCPX then come back to FCPX the stabilization changes to being editable. Réal strange.

It's a tracking shot. The application can't analyze it. Stabilization acts to lock the frame. If the frame edge is always changing as in a tracking shot or a pan there is no way to lock the motion.
