Apple Music and UNiDAYS verification?

Hi, I recently signed up for the Apple Music Student subscription and verified my eligibility with UNiDAYS. I got an email verifying that it was accepted, however I keep getting the notification when I open Apple Music to verify my eligibility. I have used the Student subscription before and never ran into a problem like this, but the notification will not go away even after sending in the verification to UNiDAYS over 5 times. Is this a bug or will I end up being charged for an individual plan when the time is out?

UNiDAYS mentions some issues on their website: “We are aware that some members are experiencing issues with updates via Apple Music advising that they have a number of days to reverify, though they already have. We are working with Apple to get this fixed ASAP!”

Does this apply to you?

Apple Music relies on their assessment, so it is important that verification completes as intended. Keep an eye on your subscription details (individual/student/family), and take action when it changes differently than intended, as you will be billed accordingly to how it is administered.
