Does the pixel explosion issue get worse over time

Hi

I have a Macbook Pro 15" retina with the LG LP154WT1-SJA2 display. It suffers from the exploded pixel issue (approx. 10 affected pixels distributed across the screen). At this stage I can live with it, but I am worried that a steadily increasing number of pixels will explode over time. What are your experiences? Does it "stabilize" at some point, or will it most likely get worse? I have searched for info on which displays are most affected, but it seems both samsung and LG displays can have the problem. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

You do not say what exact Mac you have. Non the less we know it is not going to get better—the assumption is it willl get worse.

I would get a service record established for this issue ASAP—this will help with after warranty repairs.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test
