Hey, so I bought hdmi cord hooked it up it worked!! Now it doesn’t?!?

where it says screen mirror it once said while it was working doc connector?!?

but it will not ask to trust again after I clicked on where it said doc connector to disconnect it. I have reset the tv and my location and privacy also my network settings and nothing has changed?! Has anyone else figured this out lol 😂 thank you

Hi Joetta,

To better determine how to proceed from here, could you provide additional clarification about the behavior you're experiencing? Some helpful questions to answer would be:

  1. Which cables and/or adapters are you using and what type of device is your iPhone being connected to? For instance: Lightning Digital AV Adapter and HDMI cable going to a HDTV.
  2. Do you see any error messages? If so, what do they say?
  3. Is your iPhone screen not appearing on the secondary display or what is happening?

It is a mobile phone to HDMI adapter

At 1st I was able to connect it right away to my HD tv and I could what what was on my phone through the tv. When it asked to trust I did and so everything worked at first. While the cord was still hooked into my phone it read where it says screen mirroring, doc connector well I clicked that and it unmorriored from the tv. Now every time I try to connect nothing will show! Only a barcode which I scanned and did all it said to do any nothing. I have looked online for things I can do I have cleared my network settings and my privacy and location settings on the phone. I have also reset my tv lol the only thing I haven’t done is rest my whole phone. Which I just don’t want to do. I don’t have another tv to try or I would. So it has to be the IOS 11 that won’t trust the cord or tv cause it’s a security feature? I haven’t bought the av adapter cause it’s a little expensive. But I was hoping maybe someone has had similar troubles and might know something I don’t. 😂🙏😉
